Just recently returned from Iraq with the Army National Guard. While over there I participated in the Army Ten Miler and various other small races. In Iraq I began logging my miles to have something to look back at. In my 12 months there I logged just over 500 miles. May not be much but its a start on my end.
Short-Term Running Goals:
San Diego Rock'n Roll Marathon, may be Tucson Marathon.
Long-Term Running Goals:
To make running a lifestyle not something you do when your young. I want to be the "Grandpa" you see at various 5K's..

Today we ran 7 miles with BPR at the Rilito river. The morning was very cold and for some reason the run seemed to go on for ever. I guess I was just realizing how tired I really was. The veiw was amazing though as the sun was rising
Good week Robert, keep it up! See you in a week or so.
